As of May 2021, the terminal area of Istanbul Airport is 1.44 million square meters, with 139 boarding bridges and 78 bridge stands; There are 5 runways, of which the first and second runways are 4100 meters long, the third runway is 3060 meters long, and the fourth and fifth runways are 3750 meters long; It can meet the demand for an annual passenger throughput of 90 million people.

In 2020, Istanbul Airport will complete 23.4091 million passenger throughput, ranking first in Türkiye; The cargo throughput is 869300 tons, and Türkiye ranks second; The number of aircraft taking off and landing was 185600, and Türkiye ranked first.
